Bali flights price discount asked by the Indonesian government to airlines to entice domestic tourists with special discounts for flights bound for some of Indonesia’s top tourism destinations as part of the country’s strategy to cope with declining foreign tourist arrivals amid China’s coronavirus outbreak.The move followed Jakarta’s decision to impose a travel ban to and from mainland China and to halt visa-free and visa-on-arrival provisions for Chinese tourists — a policy aimed at preventing the fast-spreading virus from entering the archipelago but which will almost certainly take a toll on Indonesia’s tourism.Through the Transportation Ministry, the government has initiated giving special discounts for domestic flights to Bali, North Sulawesi and Bintan Island,” Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko said on Thursday.Bintan Island in Riau Islands, Bali, and Manado in North Sulawesi have been among the favorite destinations of Chinese tourists, who for years have been among the largest group of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia.Transportation Ministry expert staff member Adita Irawati said the ministry had discussed with a number of airlines about providing discounted prices for flight tickets.

A night out ended into terrible accident by motorcycle driver Ali Salem Saeedan Alialrashdi ( 28 ) and his pasenger Hamze Atef Mohammad Zaher ( 20 ) driving on high speed a Kawasaki DK 4536 EF motorcycle.  Ali Salem Saeedan Alialrashdi lost control  and crashed into the electric power box and a Hindu Pelinggih. Both died on the scene.

Update Bali Corona Virus Thousands of Chinese tourists risk being stranded in Bali after the Indonesian government suspended flights to and from mainland China over fears of the deadly coronavirus outbreak. With flights suspended Wednesday, at least 5,000 Chinese tourists are currently on the holiday island, according to Gou Haodong, the Chinese Consul General in Denpasar.Some are hoping to secure visa extensions offered by Bali deputy governor Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati.Many foreign tourists want to extend their vacation in Bali and it is fine,” he said. But concerns surround delayed departures.We hope that Bali immigration office could facilitate Chinese tourists who have to overstay due to the policy,” Haodong said.Some hotels had given assurances the visitors would be treated well during their extended stay, Haodong said, but he noted one establishment had “rejected Chinese tourists who have earlier checked in and entered their rooms due to panic over coronavirus”.The number of Chinese tourists has already fallen from about 6,000 per day to just to 1,000 since the outbreak started in mid-December. Indonesia has yet to report a confirmed case of the virus, which emerged in a Chinese market at the end of last year and has since killed almost 500 people in China and spread around the world.

Previously, for drug cases that contained them, the suspect was charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 or 112 paragraph 2, or 131, regarding narcotics.
