Denpasar – The Denpasar District Prosecutor Office has again destroyed evidence that has permanent legal force as stipulated in Article 270 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

The extermination was carried out in the parking area behind the Denpasar District Attorney’s office located at Jalan PB Soedirman, Denpasar, Thursday (11/28).

“The destruction of this evidence as stated in Article 270 of the Criminal Procedure Code. There were 370 cases of criminal acts that were destroyed,” explained the Head of the Denpasar District Attorney, Luhur Istiqfar.

According to him, from a number of cases that have been handled by the Denapsar District Attorney’s Office and have obtained legal force, they are still dominated by Narcotics cases.

“Until now, narcotics crime is still the top position in the number of cases being tried. This shows that the number of perpetrators of crimes from narcotics distribution is still high in the jurisdiction in Bali. I think the same is true in other provinces,” he explained. “from narcotics crime cases that were destroyed if the total nominal amount reached IDR 16,664,988,400.”

The details of evidence that was destroyed for narcotics categories both in the form of plants or non-plants in the form of Marijuana were 7,071.3 grams, Heroin 993.4 grams, Hashish 374.99 grams, Cocaine 3.11 grams, Ecstasy 927 items and Crystal Meth there were 6,574,138 grams and also 20 of pills.
