Wissan Barakeh, the founder of the House of Om Community clarified on Monday June 22 th 2020 that the criticised gathering was not yoga but a charity event to collect donations.He also wrote an apology to the Balinese people and was paying attention to the conditions in Bali by organizing several activities.It was a big and unreasonable mistake that happened in difficult times like now.

I am fully responsible for the event that took place on June 18, 2020. Where many people came to our school. “a big and unreasonable mistake that happened at a difficult time like now. Our community is very fond and appreciative of Bali and the people of Bali,” he wrote in his Instagram account House of Om. He also explained that since the last months they started to distribute 100 boxes of food and groceries every 2 weeks aimed at people living in the village to support those affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.

Starting from helping many families who lost their homes due to the eruption of Mount Agung some time ago. Assisting projects in several local schools; distributing uniforms schools, helping the Children’s Cancer Center, helping the Children’s Disability Center and several others. All of these things we do as a form of our love and thank you to Bali and the people of Bali, “he added.

He admitted that the activity was a big and unreasonable mistake they had made during this pandemic.

We truly appreciate your commitment to the kind deeds.With your help, we’ve provided 250 bags fully packed with necessary supplies, around 100 kg of different veggies , more then 500 kg of rice/ flour and so on. People from the Camp were grateful and happy that someone is care about them and that they are not forgotten.
