The deadly accident occurred in the Denpasar-Gilimanuk Line precisely in Banjar Mandung, Sembung Gede Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan, Tuesday (11/26).

TABANAN – The victim is Ni Wayan Sukatini (36), killed after a four-wheeled vehicle (identity is still unknown) crashed into the motorbike she was driving (Yamaha Mio motorcycle number DK 5697 HL). The four-wheeled vehicle escaped after the incident.

The victim is a known employee of a cooperative in Tabanan, died after receiving treatment at the hospital. Information compiled, before the incident occurred, a car and the victim who rode the automatic motorcycle moved from the east (Denpasar) to the west (Gilimanuk direction).

At that time, the victim drove at medium speed and behind her there was a car. But not long after that, the car was going to overtake the victim road and the car unwittingly took the bow too far to the left, and then nudging the victim.

As a result of the nudging, the victim Sukatini shriveled and then fell to the left (south of the road) to fall into a sewer. After that, the victim was rushed to a private hospital in Tabanan. As a result of this incident, the victim who came from Banjar Angligan, Timpag Village, Kerambitan suffered blisters on the chin, blisters on the neck, allegedly broken neck bones.

Head of the Tabanan Resort Traffic Police Unit, Iptu Ni Luh Putu Wila Indrayani, explained that the accident actually happened on Tuesday (11/26). But it was reported on Wednesday (27/11).

“After it was reported we immediately did the crime scene”, said Iptu Indrayani, Wednesday. It was explained, based on the crime scene and witnesses, the victim was initially thought to have been touched by a four-wheeled vehicle until she fell into a sewer. Until now the vehicle is still under investigation. “The four-wheeled vehicle which allegedly ran away did not keep its distance until it hit the victim on its left until she fell”, he said.

Iptu Wila added that the bodies of the victim was already at the funeral home and the plan was buried today, Thursday (11/28). “Already at the funeral home and the plan is buried tomorrow (today)”, he said.
