Lewis Hamilton faces COVID-19 to stay secretly in surf hotspot Canggu for the last 10 days and broken the silence to debunk some rumours.

Lewis Hamilton has remarkably being  quiet on social media for the past few days. Where the eccentric Brit normally provides his more than 15 million followers with updates on a daily basis normally , these have not happened in recent days. The six-time world champion is according to the newspaper Bild therefore not in one of his houses in Monaco or New York, but on the Indonesian island of Bali. Here he would stay in surf hotspot Canggu. From this tropical location, Hamilton is said to have been in contact with team boss Toto Wolff every day and started learning the French language.

The 35-year-old Formula one driver only broke the silence on social media last week to deny a rumour. The British tabloid wrote that ‘Hamilton’s dream’ to move to Ferrari had fallen into the water because Sebastian Vettel reported to the Scuderia want to stay. The German will be without a contract at the end of this year, but seems to be aiming to sign up with the Italians. The Briton took to Instagram last Monday to comment on this allegation, but soon deleted the post again. Hamilton wrote the following: “First of all, it is not my dream at all to start driving for another team. I am already with my dream team. Besides that I have no intention of moving. I am with the people who are behind from day one have stood for me. We are the best team. ” Shortly after, the message was taken offline again. Whether he has received a request from higher hands is unknown, but it has certainly sparked speculation again.
