Kite String Kills Motorcyclist in Denpasar on Thursday (6/18/2020)  at 14.30 H

I Wayan Losman , 60 years old, was driving his motorcycle on  Jalan Raya Sesetan in Denpasar when he got  caught in a kite string and was  unable to control his motorbike. He crossed the center line and hit a car driven by Putu Agus Widi (23) head on and was seriously injured. He was evacuated from the scene and died later at Sanglah hospital in Denpasar.

Kite string accidents increasing

Kite string  accidents are increasing  in Bali and  residents have started complaining about the dangerous effects of the many kite strings as the kite season is upon us once again. The police have warned residents  not to fly kites near roads or around inhabited areas.
