Six Car Passengers Injured in a Toyota Kijang traveling at high speeds lost control on the Denpasar -Singaraja road at Baturiti, to coincide with Galungan holiday Tuesday (02/18/2020).

Six passengers were injured including children. While the driver survived.
Information gathered, the single accident occurred at around 12:15 H. At that time, a Toyota Kijang Nopol DK 1123 UN minibus was driven by I Putu Landep (45) from Drsa Strait, Sukasada, Buleleng, coming from Denpasar with six of its relatives.
The car was driving at a high speed because they wanted to get home quickly for the Galungan holiday. However, the driver lost control of the vehicle and went straight before colliding with a tree and crashed. It was suspected that the driver lacked concentration or perhaps was drowsy.
As a result, the car wrecked severely and the passenger next to the driver suffered severe injuries. Likewise five passengers behind, including a child, suffered abrasions and head injuries due to a violent impact while the driver was uninjured. All six injured received treatment.
Baturiti Police Chief Commissioner I Nengah Sudiarta when confirmed confirmed the incident. It was explained, from witness testimony, the accident was allegedly because the driver lost concentration and was unable to control the speed of the fast moving vehicle. As a result, the car swerved to the left crashing hard into a shade tree on the side of the road.
