“I’d say that an infinity pool is almost a requirement at a luxury hotel in 2018, especially at oceanfront properties where it’s key to make the most of the views,” Megan Wood, a travel editor, told the publication. “Everyone wants that shot where they’re alone in the infinity pool, back to the camera, looking out into the sea. A kidney-shaped pool just doesn’t bring the same drama.”
