Grab Launches Electric Car at Jakarta Airport

Grab Launches Electric Car in Indonesia  powered by Hyundai, however, the price is more expensive than online taxis that use conventional fuel.Introduced by President of Grab Indonesia at Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Monday (27/01/2020).For the initial stage also, the operation of the Electric Grabcar can only ordered from Jakarta International Airport with various destinations. .

However, there are  different rates between 10 or 15 % for Grabcar fares to Soekarno Hatta International Airport which uses conventional fuels and electric ones. Grabcar petrol cost  15 thousand to Rp. 20 thousand IDR  per kilometer, and will cost  Rp. 17 thousand to Rp. 22,500 with Electric Grabcar.Because the service is more exclusive, the car is also new, the actual power is also higher, the comfort is also better. We will have a slight tariff adjustment compared to Grabcar airport, that’s around 10 to 15 percent,The drivers who will be dressed in green were driving this Electric Grabcar will  follow training period first as there is a difference between driving a fuel-driven car with electricity. Grab hopes to have the  support the  government in creating environmentally friendly vehicle ecosystems

The existence of this Electric charging station the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies and the concept of the Green Toll Road and other electric car charged stations [ SPKLU ] can be built in all areas of the Bali Mandara Toll Road entrance and in the future to have electric car charged stations all over in Bali

At this moment the electric car ecosystem, especially in Bali, has not well  developed yet. The construction of the Electric charging station needs  a concrete step of new regulations. . For the moment the Governor of Bali issued Governor Regulation  Number 45 of 2019 concerning Bali Clean Energy and Pergub Number 48 of 2019 concerning the Use of Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicles. . Certainly not as easy as turning the palm of the hand.
