Blue Bear Skateboarding Ubud accepting plastic bottles payments

Blue Bear Skateboarding Ubud accepting the payment option of 10  empty plastic bottles for the local habitants during the weekends.

This important decision has been announce on Friday 21/02/2020 by Blue Bear owner, Daniela Budi who explained, this step was carried out in order to sensitize the society  to better used plastic bottle and to cooperate with the local village garbage bank.

It was done to target tourists who like skateboarding, as well as developing sports tourism and environmental education. We offer a place to play and hold competitions regularly to recruit local skateboarders.

According to Daniela, foreigners often play in his place, while only a few local residents. But local residents who want to play, just pay to use plastic bottles, every weekend

We deliberately combine this skate track facility with Italian and indo dishes and to offer environmental education, especially about maintaining cleanliness and reducing the use of plastic

 Blue Bear Skateboarding Ubud founded in 2018  is a vocational learning center, skatepark, music center, fun and coding + media hub, resto and cafe for everyone living or visiting Ubud. Integration between local community and expats.
