The Virtual Charity event named ” Hope & Freedom, Run for Mental Health ” is organised by 7 Balinese runners from different running clubs baes in Bali. Dewi Suhendri (BURN), Ketut Indrawan (Bolla Colla Hash) Valentine Lily (Indorunner Bali), Judy Sena (Bali Trail Running), Gus Darmadi (Bali Hash), Vonny Thorley (BURN), and Kendrick Sumolang (Burn)
Dewi Suhendri, one of the organisers revealed that this activity was in collaboration with the Suryani Institute for Mental Health which has been established since 2005, which has dedicated itself to assist people with mental disorders in Bali free of charge.
The target of the event is to raise aprox 165.130.000 Rp / aprox 12.000 US$ funds to help 81 people who are desperate in need at the Institute for Mental Health. These people with severe mental and physical limitations had experienced difficulties in fulfilling their basic needs before the pandemic and now it becomes increasingly difficult and urgently need basic needs as clothing, food, cleaning tools and beds
Anyone can registrate online to participle on this event in this activity, prospective participants must register online by filling in the registration form with a registration fee of Rp 100,000 / 7 US$ per person.Suhendri said that later the from the registration fee Rp. 45,000 will be donated directly to Institute for Mental Health
All registrate participants can join the strava club group ” Hope & Freedom ” on Sunday, January 31, 2021 and post their running activities to support the charity event.
