The five-time premier world champion was active as a racer from 1989-1999, and was once a 500cc GP champion at the Sentul Circuit in 1996. The Sentul Circuit itself hosted MotoGP for two years from 1996 to 1997.

“I think it’s fantastic that MotoGP can come back here, with a huge fan base not only from MotoGP but also from manufacturers”, said the Australian legend when met in Jakarta on Saturday.

During his visit in Jakarta, Doohan, accompanied by Dorna Sports Sporting Director Carlos Ezpeleta, ITDC Managing Director Abdulbar M, Mansoer and Mandaliga Grand Prix Association CEO Ricky Baheramsyah attended the MGPA pre-launching event, an ITDC subsidiary that was housed as the operator of all events held at the Mandalika.

Doohan also witnessed how the race simulation on the 4.3km road circuit with 18 turns and expressed his comments.

“We see something different … the track is flowing enough, it will be fast enough. In general it will present a good race.”

According to Doohan, of course, each circuit has an ideal part for overtaking and other supporting elements during the race.

“But the hardest part in my opinion is putting all of that together to help you lead on the last lap to the last bend to the finish line first. You have to lead to the last meter.”

“Each circuit has different ingredients that must be combined to make the perfect ‘food’,” Doohan said.

Carlos Ezpeleta agrees and believes that the Mandalika Circuit will present a tight race where the results will be determined in the final round.

“That is what all fans have been waiting for, so I think this track, in the midst of all that view, will be amazing, and will present a good race,” Ezpeleta said.

ITDC said that if the Mandalika Circuit construction is still running according to schedule and currently has entered ground works progress by 30 percent.

The ITDC was assured of holding a MotoGP race at KEK Mandalika after signing an agreement with Dorna on January 28 this year in Madrid to host MotoGP for five years starting in 2021 and also received a contract to hold the FIM Motul Superbike World Championship (WSBK).

MGPA itself is tasked with managing and operating the Mandalika Circuit through organizing motor racing and other events.

“We are confident that we can pursue the target of completing the construction of the Mandalika Circuit by the end of 2020 so that we can hold a MotoGP race in 2021”, Ricky said.

It was stated in the initial indictment that Florin bought 650 magnetic stripe cards online at witness Suluh Hadi Raharjo for 4,500,000 IDR. The card was then handed over to Nikolas to fill in the form of a four-digit PIN Number written on the back of the card.

After the cards were filled with PINs by Nikolas, the defendants then began their action by visiting the BRI Bank ATM located at Jalan Tohpati, East Denpasar on July 20, 2019 around 23:30 Central Indonesia Time. They shared duties in the action.

Florin entered the ATM room to withdraw money and Renato watched the situation outside. Arriving in front of the ATM machine, Florin entered 3 cards but only 2 cards worked.

Two magic cards succeeded in making each withdrawal transaction IDR 2,500,000. After that, Florin came out of the ATM room towards his motorcycle, while Renato kept watching over the situation.

At that moment, Florin was successfully secured by a police officer while Renato tried to escape while throwing away the magnetic strip cards which were on him but was still successfully captured.

“From their hands, the police managed to secure 44 cards with varying PIN numbers and were used by the defendants to make transactions at ATM and before making transactions at BRI ATM in Tohpati Street, the defendants had previously carried out transactions at BNI ATM”, said Prosecutor Dipa.

Gianyar – In the midst of the massive construction of hotels and villas in Payangan District, the conflicts between the local community and investors were inevitable. The same thing happened in Banjar Selasih, Puhu, Payangan, Gianyar Regency.

The attitude of investors who insisted on bringing heavy equipment to flatten the plantation land caused a reaction from residents. Wednesday (11/20) morning, dozens of residents carried out resistance by crossing half of the road with trees and applying sharp bamboo fences.

Based on information, the action has been carried out since Tuesday (11/19) night. This resistance began when they got the information that heavy equipment would be sent down to flatten the plantation area. So that dozens of residents spontaneously made efforts to block the heavy equipment.

“Socialization and meetings related to land issues have not found any solution yet. Where the cultivators have never met with the investor. Whenever there is a meeting between investors and cultivators, only representatives are allowed to attend. Even investor representatives cannot decide on citizens demands”, said one of the cultivators, I Made Sudiantara.

Action against the heavy equipment was accompanied by a pair of banners that read various kinds of innuendo for investors. Like the sentence: “Farmers need manure (fertilizer) not bulldozers, build Bali to support farmers” and some writings that pour out the hearts of these farmers.

Investors Will Flatten Plantation Land

In addition to being blocked by using a wood tree, some spiky bamboos containing white fabrics were also placed there. They claim to be on guard, in case investors use violence.

Deputy Chief of Payangan Sector Police, Iptu Made Murgama with the permission of the Ubud Sector Police Chief, Police Commissioner I Nyoman Nuryana SH said, his team only reminded residents to maintain security and order. So that the purpose of the action to defend or question the land does not turn out to be anarchist. Because if it turns into an anarchist, it will automatically enter the realm of law for the perpetrator. So he warned that together to maintain the conducivity and security of the region.

Other information said that the 144 hectares of land belonged to Puri Payangan, which was once cultivated by local residents and planted with banana trees. For a long time the land had been given to local residents for gardening or farming for generations until now.

However, since 1997 there was information that the land had been sold by Puri Payangan which was planned to be built a golf course, but until now it has not been realized. Of the hundreds of hectares of land, some are also claimed as belonging to residents. In addition, there are three temples on the land, namely Hyang Api Temple, Puncak Alit Temple and Pasgel Gelgel Temple. The residents hope that the government can help resolve the land case.

SOUTH KUTA – The 150 kV High Voltage Cable Channel (SKTT) plantations undertaken by PLN’s East Java and Bali Development Master Unit I (UIP JBTB) have been completed. And on Tuesday (11/19/2019), continued with the voltage injection process or known as energize.

“Energize is the process of injecting voltage into a newly completed network. By doing energy, it means that we are ready to be burdened to be distributed to consumers”, said Toto Hadiani, Manager of the 150 kV SKTT Utility Planting Project in Pecatu – Nusa Dua.

The network was actually connected from the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport area to Pecatu all the way to Nusa Dua. The network will be charged with a loop or circle system, with additional capacity of 2 times 60 MW of transformer. “For the network that we handle, from Pecatu to Nusa Dua regions, we have done it. And it is ready to be energized”, he said.

150 kV High Voltage Injection Process Begins

The same thing was also conveyed by JBTB I Technical Section, Ady Adhitya when confirmed by cellphone on Monday (11/18/2019). He justified the energize process carried out today. Because it requires preparation of maneuvers from the Nusa Dua substation (GI). “Physically, the work has been completed, the test has also been completed, so the rest is only preparation for the operation process”, he explained.

The planting of 150 kV SKTT (Nusa Dua-Pecatu-Aiport) utilities was carried out to improve the reliability of electricity in Bali subsystem, especially in South Bali. The utility is installed a total of 22 kilometers, with details of 10 kilometers from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport to Pecatu and 12 kilometers from Pecatu to Nusa Dua.

“Previously, the South Bali network was only supplied from Nusa Dua substation and the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Airport. If there is maintenance of a high voltage network at one of these substations, the reliability of South Bali will be reduced. Now, with this Pecatu loop, the power flow is maintained. Therefore, it is maneuvered through the Pecatu GIS and vice versa”, he said also related to the Pecatu GIS which was reportedly built by East Java and Bali Development Master Unit I (UIP JBTB), near the Bali Pecatu Graha (BPG) area.
