 According to the ministry, Indonesian citizens seeking to enter Singapore via the corridor will be required to have official sponsors from Singaporean state agencies and enterprises, in addition to a safe travel pass. Likewise, Singaporean nationals traveling to Indonesia will be obliged to have official sponsors from Indonesian state departments and business entities, in addition to a visa.

Bali staycations free offered for 4.440 residents of its resort island of Bali, in a seven-week tourism dry-run to promote the international holiday hotspot and test its coronavirus health protocols.
Authorities halted tourism in Indonesia’s prime attraction in April to prevent the spread of the virus, devastating its economy.

Though it reopened for local visitors in July, it is struggling to get back on track and has also seen infection numbers climb.I Putu Astawa, chief of Bali’s tourism agency, said 4,440 participants would be separated into 12 groups and given two-night stays at resorts between October 7 and November 27 to test out measures designed to keep visitors safe.The trips will include local tours and participants are expected to promote “New Normal Bali” on social media.

Bali last year had more than 10 million visitors, 6.3 million of which were foreigners, Astawa said. Bali had initially weathered the health crisis better than other parts of Indonesia, but coronavirus cases spiked after it reopened to domestic tourism.

China Indonesia resume flights from mid September 2020 between Wuhan and Jakarta, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Hanoi, Sihanouk, Tokyo and Singapore.Wuhan, the city hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic in China, suspended all its 63 international and regional flights after the outbreak. The resumption of flights has now been approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.Foreign economic and trade exchanges by local enterprises and some businesses outside the province had been forced to rely on transit to exit ports in other cities. Consequently, many enterprises are looking forward to the resumption of international passenger routes.

After Wuhan lifted its outbound travel restrictions on April 8, the airport recovered rapidly. As of the end of August, the airport has resumed 73 domestic routes, with single-day passenger throughput hitting a high of 60,000, recovering to over 90 percent of the level of the same period last year.Meanwhile, the airport has actively developed international cargo routes covering 29 international freight hubs in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Airasia offering rapid test for only 6 US$ daily from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m for  passengers who only have  to wait 10 minutes for the result with medical certificate valid for 14 days.   AirAsia Indonesia is offering drive-through rapid COVID-19 testing for passengers leaving from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten. To use the service, passengers are required to show their booking ID and identity card. After registering and completing payment, a sample will be taken and passengers are to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the result.

In a statement, AirAsia Indonesia director Veranita Yosephine said, “The service will be expanded to Indonesian cities that AirAsia currently serves. The airline has gradually resumed its operations and is now serving domestic routes from Jakarta to Medan, Surabaya, Bali, Lombok and Yogyakarta.

Earlier this month, AirAsia Indonesia updated its baggage policy and announced that passengers could bring two carry-on bags with certain requirements.The total maximum weight for both bags should be 7 kilograms, otherwise they will be placed with checked baggage.AirAsia Indonesia provides a free baggage allowance of up to 15 kg for domestic flights.
