Turtle sate restaurant Jimbaran raided

12 Green Wildlife turtles and 20 skeletons

Turtle sate restaurant Jimbaran at Jalan Bukit Hijau II No. 1, Jimbaran was raided by the Bali Police on  Wednesday June 24 th 2020. The police visit Warung Kayu Manis on Wednesday June 24 th at 10 AM after they received reports that the warung was suspected of selling sates made from sea turtle meet. The owner Wayan Kayun was arrested and accused of selling meat for consumption made from protected animals. Large amount of chopped meat from sea turtles has been confiscated.

 Afterword’s the police went to the suspect his home where the police discovered 12 Green Wildlife turtles who were still alive who have been secured. They also find  20 skeletons and green turtle meat still in the fridge.
