Increased Street Crime Bali To prevent more street crime, 278 police officers from Polresta and Polsek team has been sent on duty.  “On Sunday night or holiday, we doubled the force. Include Raimas (masses disperse) team”, said the head division operational of Polresta Denpasar Kompol I Nyoman Gatra, Sunday (1/3).

Kompol Gatra has said that the patrol is a routine schedule that has been improved. “But last night there is no motor gang (criminals) that appeared. Also no information or report from citizen. Are they extinct or the absence are because of the Balinese holiday?” as he said.

The location targeted by the patrol team are Mahendradatta Street, Gatot Subroto (Gatsu) Street especially West Gatsu, Teuku Umar Street, Ngurah Rai By-pass Street especially around South Denpasar, Kuta, and Nusa Dua.

The patrols also strengthen by the Integrated Raimas Team on an integrated motorcycle patrol. But on the motorcycle patrol to prevent this street crime, the team always dressed as a gangster to avoid suspicion from the targeted Motor Gang criminals.
