SINGARAJA – the Local Authorities has given strict action to an Australian-flagged Yacht who entered Indonesial territorial ocean in Lovina.

The Captain of the Yacht, Taylor Robert Ward, 50, Perth resident, Australia, get a deadline to leave Lovina as soon as possible.

The Local authoriries take this action to ensure the citizens are safe from corona virus outbreak.

The Head of Port Authority Office (KSOP) Celukan Bawang, I Made Oka, mentioned about that after monitoring the yacht yeaterday with related parties.

According to Oka, yesterday his party and integrated team, Immigration, Tourism office, Ocean Police team of Polres Buleleng and Ocean Army of Sangsit, The Port Health Office (KKP) and Celukan Bawang Customs, have joined to recheck that yacht.

From the physical check of the ship, his party conclude this yacht entered Lovina without having a complete document permit.

Based on information from the yacht captain, in addition of holiday, he anchored to Lovina because of emergency factor. Running out of fuel and logistic.

Even though that is still violations. Because entered Indonesian ocean without prior notice and communication with related parties.

“Tomorrow (it is Thursday now, red) we give a deadline to leave the Indonesian ocean,” Made Oka confirmed.

Oka admitted the purpose of this action is to give conducive feeling to the people of Buleleng, because  of the current situation.

The Head of Immigration Office Class II Singaraja, I Gusti Agung Komang Artawan said his party will return the document belongs to Taylor if all the case with related parties are clear.

“Of course no more reasons for us to keep his passport. When everythings are clear, so we will return the document,” he said.
