Police escorting wealthy jogger Richard Muljadi accompanied by two other joggers and dog on the JL By Pass Ngurah Rai in Denpasar on Friday 16/10/2020 ( video below ). The police officers escorting Richard Muljadi have been questioned for their actions which are not in accordance with procedures The video with went viral shows a police car in front and followed by 3 people jogging with a dog and also followed a white car.

The police has been slammed after the video being circulated on social media after the incident and the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Syamsi stated that police can only escort community activities and not escorting private services for their own benefit during their duty. The police should play a role to maintain security, protection, and enforcing the law for citizens who violate the rules. Richard Muljadi is the grandson of Kartini Muljadi, the richest person in Indonesia, number 29 according to Forbes magazine in 2015. He has been mostly in the news with drug related news and arrested on several occasions.
