The essential traveler is a visit by foreign tourist in the context of essential business trips and official trips. All of these want to protect Bali because they think there are many triggers for new transmissions from PMI [Indonesian migrant workers] who return to Indonesia, not accepting essential travelers as an effort to protect Bali,” he said, Thursday (26/8/2021). According to him, Bali is expected to be able to reduce Covid-19 cases so that economic recovery by opening international borders can be carried out immediately.
Bali has also been named as the location for the G20 conference which will take place next year. Bali is also being pursued as a place for the holding of world tourism day . “The opening of Bali is a symbol of our awakening and hopefully we can gradually try it out and it can be carried out a few months before the G20 kicks off which takes place in November 2022 or at least the end of the third quarter,” he said.
