BADUNG – A young man in Bali named I Gusti Ngurah Yoga Adi Putra (22) stabbed his own cousin I Gusti Agung Alit Mahaputra (29) to death. Police suspect the perpetrator was drunk while attacking his cousin.
Badung Resort Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Police Roby Septiadi explained, when the two were at odds, the biological mother of the perpetrator tried to break up. But the mother actually injured due to slashes from the perpetrator.
“Yes, the incident was true, at first they were drinking and they might have been high, then the victim was initially only arbitrating, the victim was his cousin, he was stabbed with a long sword, then his mother joined in breaking up and finally got slashed on her hand”, Roby said when asked for confirmation, ( 1/1/2020).
The stabbing and the persecution occurred on Tuesday (12/31/2019) night around 17.30 CIT. The perpetrator stabbed his cousin when he wanted to break up a dispute at the CGT Warung Banjar Jepinis, Pererenan Village, Mengsi, Badung.
Feeling pressured, the perpetrator returned to take the sword to his house, then returned to the stall and attacked his cousin. The mother who tried to break it up instead hit by a slash in the hand.
At present his biological mother has been treated at the Kapal Hospital. Perpetrator of stabbing and persecution has been secured in the Mengwi Sector Police for further investigation.
“Yes, at this time the perpetrator has been secured”, said Roby. Meanwhile, the police managed to secure 1 sword and 1 victim’s shirt and pants.
